Every Friday night Vision Onward will pick up between 40-60 children from the impoverished areas of town and bring them into a safe environment and show them love. Volunteers in the community take time out of their week to spend time with children who desperately need love and attention. The children are served dinner and then move on to worship time, game time, and small group bible study time. We keep the small groups small because we believe it is important for the leaders to build strong bonds with the children in their groups. Refuge is exactly what its name indicates: it is a Refuge for children who have rough lives.
Want to make a difference in a child's life? There are many volunteer opportunities on Friday nights from bus driving, preparing or organizing meals, leading worship or small group leaders.
